Create your first snippet
Start with a short acknowledgement, save it with a memorable alias, and test it before using it in a real conversation.
How PhraseShelf works
Save a useful piece of writing, give it a shortcut, and reuse it in a supported website editor.
1. Keep the part you write again
Choose one message you use often: a greeting, a request for details, or your signature. Save the wording as a snippet. Give it a descriptive title so you can find it even when you forget the shortcut.
Start with plain text. You can add formatting, fill-in fields, dates, and reusable blocks later. A small library you trust is more useful than a large collection you never review.
2. Make it easy to reach
Assign an alias such as ;thanks. In a supported editor, type that alias at the start of a line or after whitespace, then press Space. PhraseShelf replaces it with your saved text and keeps one trailing space.
Prefer browsing? Open search with Ctrl+. or Cmd+. in an eligible editor. Snippets without aliases can still be found by title, words, folders, or tags.

3. Review before you send
Choose website access when you are ready to use expansion on a site. Access, site pause, and snippet scope are separate controls. A restricted editor may require Copy and manual paste.
PhraseShelf inserts text; you decide whether to edit and send it. Check names, dates, links, and context. The destination website can read inserted text. Keep an independent backup of your library.
