Your extension library

Snippets, folders, tags, drafts, revisions, trash, settings, and reusable values stay in the extension’s browser profile. There is no account, cloud sync, advertising, telemetry, crash-upload service, or remote AI.

The active library is not encrypted. People or software with access to your device or profile may be able to read it. Hiding a preview does not encrypt a snippet. Optional password encryption applies only to an exported backup file.

Text you choose to insert

With website access you grant, the extension checks bounded nearby text in the active eligible editor to match a shortcut. It does not maintain keystroke, browsing-history, or clipboard-history logs.

An invoked template can request clipboard or page context when its fields need it. Per-use answers and contextual values are transient. Optional local usage records contain snippet IDs, counts, and last-use times, not completed messages. You can disable and clear them in Settings.

A destination website can read text you deliberately insert or paste. Review your message before sending, and avoid storing secrets in ordinary snippets.

This website

The site uses local fonts, images, and scripts. It has no analytics scripts, advertising, cookies, sign-in, or service worker. Demo inputs and searches remain in the current page and are not persisted or transmitted by site code. Copy writes only the example you select to your clipboard; it never reads clipboard contents.

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website and may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and other ordinary request information to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its handling of this data. This hosting is separate from the extension’s offline library.

Chrome API data

PhraseShelf uses information received from Chrome APIs only for its local text-template features and deliberate insertion. Its use complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The developer does not receive your extension library.

Backups and deletion

Removing the extension or browser profile can remove its library and local recovery points. It does not delete files you previously exported. Before removing it, export and verify an independent backup if you need your data.

Delete unwanted snippets, empty their trash entries, clear usage records, and manage exported copies yourself. There is no automatic diagnostic upload or support-upload form on this website.

Core PhraseShelf features remain local. Opening the optional support page is your choice. NOWPayments processes tips on its separate website under its own policies. PhraseShelf does not collect payment details or store wallet credentials, and does not check whether you paid.
